AQUALIN is applied as a water based product and when the water evaporates, linseed oil is released to penetrate into the timber, forming a low gloss, stained finish. The film dries overnight and continues hardening for several days. AQUALIN Transpar is not recommended for exterior finishing unless used for diluting colour when transparency is required as it is not as durable as the colours. It is also useful as a primer for excessively weathered timber prior to using a paint finish. Refer to our Tech Data sheet for more detailed information.
